*Home Movies* - Per OP: "Home movies of Navy personnel on Guam, between sorties involving the entire Pacific. The beautiful island of Guam was home to; the Pacific, our playground...! The super connies were EC121K's (containing an AN/APS search radar, AN/APS-45 height finding radar, CIC station) and M's (that gear, and AN/ALD-1 direction finder, AN/ALR-3 radar warning receiver, AN/APA-74 pulse receiver and AN/APR-9 and AN/APR-13 ELINT receivers), "Peter Rabbit" coded aircraft sweeping up SIGINT/ELINT signals from the time of FLAMING DART to ROLLING THUNDER and into LINEBACKER 2. Big Eye, College Eye and Disco operations using QRC-248's to interrogate SRO-2 IFF transponders ("Odd Rods") of enemy aircraft proved highly effective. Systems became so quick and precise that operators could identify individual enemy pilots and ground controllers. The A-3 line-up included EA-3B's ( electronic intelligence gathering and Tactical Airborne Signal Exploitation System aircraft) and RA-3B photo birds. A TA-3B was provided for the admiral and guests. That one was a favorite: it had airline seats, individual Tensor lamps, and still had the stinger tail, but with a b/w tv cam now mounted. Try leaving the carrier with that view sometime. That aircraft is now at the bottom of the Pacific, having been lost, with the senior officers of the squadron aboard, for unknown reasons in the '80's. The accident at the Tamuning Shopping Center was fake - Like Suicide Club and Cacophony would later do, we staged gladness anywhere we could....in or out of!"
