A U.S. Air Force B-52 Stratofortress from Minot Air Force Base gets aerial refueled by a U.S. Air Force KC-135 Stratotanker from the 28th Expeditionary Aerial Refueling squadron in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility Jan. 17, 2021. The B-52 Stratofortress is a long-range, heavy bomber that is capable of flying at high subsonic speeds at altitudes of up to 50,000 feet and can carry nuclear or precision guided conventional ordnance wth global reach precision navigation capability.
Qatar Emiri Air Force Rafale fighter aircraft are aerial refueled by a U.S. Air Force KC-135 Stratotanker, assigned to the 340th Expeditionary Aircraft Refueling Squadron, while conducting the first-ever in air refueling mission between the countries over Qatar.
